Job summary

Premier Fresh Australia in Adelaide is seeking motivated Produce Handlers (Pick Packers) with machine operation experience to join our team on casual, immediate-start positions. You will handle machine operation, order fulfilment, labeling, and quality checks while adhering to health, safety and wellbeing practices.

Availability Monday to Friday and early 7:30am starts are preferred. No prior affiliation with Premier Fresh required; we welcome applicants who are eager to grow with a leading

Qualifications

• Experience operating warehouse machines.
• Willingness to work early mornings.
• Available Monday to Friday.
• Pick/packing experience preferred.
• Strong communication and numeracy basics.
• Knowledge of health, safety and wellbeing practices.

Responsibilities

• Machine Operation; proper usage of all machinery and equipment.
• Order Fulfilment; preparing product in accordance with appropriate procedures and customer specifications including quality control, grading, pre-packing, weighing, and assembling.
• Understand the specifications relating to labeling produce. The accurate and complete preparation and receipt of Value-Added Batch (VAB).
• Adhere to Health, Safety and Wellbeing, and Food Safety processes & procedures as instructed by the Supervisor.
• Competency to learn and operate the required warehouse machinery.

We are seeking motivated and capable Produce Handlers (Pick Packers) with machine operation experience to join our Adelaide team.

We currently have casual positions available for an immediate start.

As a Produce Handler your key responsibilities will include.

• Machine Operation; proper usage of all machinery and equipment.
• Order Fulfilment; preparing product in accordance with appropriate procedures and customer specifications including quality control, grading, pre-packing, weighing, and assembling.
• Understand the specifications relating to labeling produce. The accurate and complete preparation and receipt of Value-Added Batch (VAB).
• Adhere to Health, Safety and Wellbeing, and Food Safety processes & procedures as instructed by the Supervisor.
• Competency to learn and operate the required warehouse machinery.

Desired Skills and Experience

To be successful in the role you will have the following capabilities:

• Previous experience with machine operation.
• Flexible to work early morning shifts (7.30am starts).
• AvailableMonday - Friday.
• Previous pick/packing experience is highly regarded.
• Possesses and uses good interpersonal, communication skills and basic literacy and numeracy skills.
• General awareness, interest and understanding of health safety and wellbeing practices.
