Job summary

Premier Fresh Australia is seeking motivated Produce Handlers (Pick Packers) with machine operation experience to join our Epping Operations team. We currently have Full-Time positions available for an immediate start.

As a Produce Handler your key responsibilities will include machine operation, order fulfilment to customer specifications including quality control, grading, pre-packing, weighing and assembling.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with machine operation is required.
• Flexible to work early morning shifts (6 am start).
• Availability for weekend work.
• Previous pick/packing experience is highly regarded.
• Possesses and uses good interpersonal, communication skills and basic literacy and numeracy skills.
• General awareness, interest and understanding of health safety and wellbeing practices.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Physically fit and able to undertake manual handling duties safely.

Responsibilities

• Machine Operation; proper usage of all machinery and equipment.
• Order Fulfilment; preparing product in accordance with appropriate procedures and customer specifications including quality control, grading, pre-packing, weighing, and assembling.
• Understand the specifications relating to labeling produce. The accurate and complete preparation and receipt of Value-Added Batch (VAB).
• Adhere to Health, Safety and Wellbeing, and Food Safety processes & procedures as instructed by the Supervisor.
• Competency to learn and operate the required warehouse machinery.
