Job summary

Premier Fresh Australia Pty Ltd is seeking motivated Produce Handlers (Pick Packers) with machine operation experience to join our Epping Operations team. We have Full-Time positions available for an immediate start.

As a Produce Handler your duties include operating equipment, preparing orders to spec, labeling, quality control, and adhering to health, safety and wellbeing procedures. Weekend shifts and early starts are required, with a focus on reliability and physical fitness.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with machine operation required.
• Flexible to start early mornings (6 am).
• Availability for weekend work.
• Previous pick/packing experience is desirable.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with basic literacy.
• Knowledge of health, safety and wellbeing practices.
• Reliable, punctual and strong work ethic.
• Physically fit for manual handling.

Responsibilities

• Machine operation: proper use of all machinery and equipment.
• Order fulfilment: prepare product per procedures and customer specs including QC, grading, pre-packing, weighing and assembling.
• Understand labeling specifications; ensure accurate preparation and receipt of Value-Added Batch (VAB).
• Adhere to Health, Safety and Wellbeing and Food Safety processes as instructed by Supervisor.
• Learn and operate required warehouse machinery.
