Job summary

Procurement ACT's Contracts and Category Management Team (CCMT) is seeking a temporary Support Officer (ASO5) to contribute to the delivery and management of Whole of Government contracts across ACT Government directorates and the Canberra community. You will engage stakeholders, perform research and analysis, support contract administration, and prepare procurement documentation.

This position is temporary from 10 December 2026 for up to 12 months with possible extension; eligibility includes

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement, contract management, policy or public administration is desirable but not essential.
• Experience working in a government environment and/or providing customer-focused services will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery and management of Whole of Government contracts across ACT Government directorates and the Canberra community.
• Engage with government and industry stakeholders to support effective contract management.
• Assist with reporting and the development of procurement and contract management documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and strategic procurement outcomes.
