Job summary

Gold Coast Health in Southport QLD is recruiting several Procurement Support Officers to join our 14,000-strong team focused on delivering world-class healthcare for the Gold Coast and northern New South Wales.

You will provide high-quality procurement support to category teams, administer procurement and contract related systems, manage supplier enquiries, and raise purchase/service/standing orders. Roles are permanent full-time with base salary $96,363-$106,160 per annum.

Qualifications

• Procurement experience or exposure to procurement processes.
• Relevant qualification in procurement or a related field highly regarded.
• Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed.
• Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees.

An opportunity has become available for several Procurement Support Officers to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

• Provide high quality procurement support services assisting Category teams to deliver divisional and organisational requirements


• Administer and maintain procurement and contract related systems and centralised processes


• Maintain the procurement request and enquiry function, receiving and responding to enquiries from suppliers and internal stakeholders


• Raise purchase, service and standing orders as required


• Facilitate and maintain appropriate procurement documentation across all stages of sourcing

About you

To be successful in this position you will require:

• This role requires general procurement experience or exposure to procurement processes, with an understanding of sourcing activities and administration advantageous


• While not mandatory, relevant experience and/or a relevant qualification in procurement or a related field would be highly regarded


• Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed


• Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)
