New Point Recruitment partners with an established Australian business to recruit an experienced Planning & Procurement Coordinator on the Central Gold Coast. This role focuses on purchasing, inventory and operational planning with an emphasis on improving processes and system efficiencies.

You will work with management and operations to coordinate purchasing, monitor stock levels and utilise ERP/MRP systems to streamline workflows and data accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement, purchasing, materials planning or inventory coordination within manufacturing or similar environments.
• Solid experience using ERP/MRP systems to manage purchasing, inventory, or operational processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when working with data and reporting.
• Understanding of purchasing cycles, supplier lead times and inventory management.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort with technology.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate purchasing activities, purchase orders, supplier follow-ups and delivery schedules.
• Monitor inventory requirements, stock availability and purchasing lead times.
• Utilise ERP/MRP systems to manage purchasing, inventory records and workflows.
• Assist with materials and supply planning to support operational requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve purchasing, planning and administrative processes.
• Explore technology and automation to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
• Maintain accurate system data, reporting and documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
