Job summary

JamesVale Recruitment Pty. is seeking a Procurement Officer or Spare Parts Interpreter for its Seventeen Mile Rocks, Queensland operation.

The role concentrates on machinery parts procurement, stock control, and delivering excellent service to internal and external customers. You will manage stock levels, place replenishment orders, coordinate deliveries, and ensure accurate invoicing and order fulfilment with regular hours and clear career development.

Qualifications

• Several years of spare parts experience, preferably in machinery or engineering supplies.
• Experience in customer-service or account management is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maximise procurement and spare parts efficiency, focusing on inventory and logistics.
• Maintain stock levels, placing orders to replace inventory as needed.
• Process sales, backorders, forward orders, stock transfers and distribution.
• Update customers on delivery times and expected product distribution.
• Handle purchasing, invoicing, receipting sales, credits and order fulfilment.

They are presently seeking a Procurement Officer or "next level" Spare Parts Interpreter with expertise in machinery, spare parts, equipment, or engineering supplies.

The tasks involved...

The position entails maximising possibilities within the procurement and spare parts department by establishing strong relationships with both internal and external team members. You'll be in charge of your area of expertise, mainly inventory and logistics, ensuring that all parts and machinery stock levels are kept at an acceptable standard and that orders are placed to replace them as required. You'll need to make sure that all sales, backorders, forward orders, stock transfers and general product distribution are completed in a timely and efficient manner, updating customers with expected product distribution and estimated time of delivery.

Some of the other daily task requirements include: purchasing, invoicing, receipting sales, ensuring credits and order fulfilment.
