Job summary

Warrikal in West Perth is seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to join our team, handling tenders, RFQs and supplier management across our operations.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to secure the right value while maintaining strong supplier relationships and robust procurement processes.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years' experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain.
• Fluent in Mandarin.
• Understanding of international supply chain functions including sourcing overseas.
• Experience expediting orders and managing supplier delivery timeframes.
• Experience with RFQs and tenders; vendor compliance and procurement processes.

Job description

Warrikal is seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to join our team in West Perth. This is a hands‑on procurement role supporting purchasing, supplier management, tenders and RFQs across our business.

Working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers, you’ll play an important role in ensuring we secure the right products and services, at the right value, while maintaining strong supplier relationships and procurement processes.

About The Role

• Assist with tenders, RFQs and market price requests, including tender estimations
• Source, negotiate and manage local and international suppliers to achieve best value, quality and performance
• Manage high-volume purchasing and expedite orders to ensure supplier delivery timeframes are met
• Maintain vendor compliance, onboarding and supplier documentation
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, leveraging established industry networks
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure procurement processes and requirements are followed

About You

We’re looking for someone proactive, commercially minded, and confident dealing with both local and international suppliers. Fluency in Mandarin is essential for this role, as you’ll be liaising directly with Mandarin‑speaking suppliers. You’ll be comfortable managing competing priorities, chasing quotes, expediting orders and negotiating to achieve the best outcome.

• 2-3 years' experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain.
• Fluent in Mandarin
• Understanding of international supply chain functions, including sourcing and coordinating overseas suppliers
• Experience expediting orders and managing supplier delivery timeframes
• Strong understanding of RFQs, tenders, vendor compliance and procurement processes
• Experience within a mechanical or industrial environment, sourcing hand tools, consumables and operational requirements
• Established industry network, strong financial acumen and a sound commercial mindset
• Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills
• A proactive, confident approach, with the ability to manage high-volume workloads and tight deadlines
