Build your procurement career in a role with genuine room to grow
Top Cut Foods is looking for a motivated and commercially minded Procurement Officer to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career procurement professional who enjoys the hands-on side of purchasing but wants to develop into strategic sourcing, supplier negotiation and category management.
You’ll take responsibility for procurement activities across direct materials, while also gaining exposure to indirect procurement and protein categories.
The role will initially combine operational purchasing and procurement administration with commercial and strategic activities. As your experience and capability grow, so will your level of category ownership and influence.
You’ll ideally have 2–3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain or a similar commercial environment.
Experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, meat or protein would be highly regarded, but it isn’t essential. More important is your ability to think commercially, work with data and suppliers, and your ambition to develop beyond transactional purchasing.
Qualifications in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business or Commerce are advantageous but not essential.
This isn’t intended to be a role where you simply process purchase orders.
You’ll have the opportunity to learn the commercial side of procurement, understand commodity and supplier markets, participate in negotiations and sourcing projects, and progressively take ownership of categories.
If you’re looking for an opportunity to build strong procurement foundations while developing into a strategic procurement professional, we’d like to hear from you.
