Job summary

Liberty Specialty Markets is seeking an experienced Procurement Lead for Australia to own the regional procurement and operational resilience agenda. You will shape sourcing strategies, manage locally owned tools, and influence supplier selection across the region while partnering with multiple stakeholders.

The role emphasises ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and delivery of cost savings with a focus on compliance and ESG considerations within a global insurance environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement, supplier management or vendor lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimise sourcing and supply
• Lead the development and administration of local sourcing tools and apps
• Coordinate sourcing events (RFIs/RFPs) and evaluation processes
• Negotiate terms with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and delivery
• Collaborate with Legal and stakeholders on contracts and agreements
• Drive cost reduction and value engineering opportunities
• Ensure compliance with policies, ESG and regulatory requirements
• Establish supplier performance programs and conduct reviews and audits
• Prepare reports for senior management with insights and risks
