Job summary

Evolution Mining is seeking a senior procurement leader to establish and head a Procurement Centre of Excellence from our Sydney base. You will shape governance, analytics, and capability uplift across the organisation while partnering with Finance, Technology, and Operations to deliver value and risk management.

You will drive strategic procurement projects, implement systems and automation, and guide a team including a Procurement Analyst and Coordinator to scale a commercial, efficient

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing procurement governance or operating model frameworks.
• Delivering continuous improvement, transformation or business improvement initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capability.
• Experience developing analytics, reporting or business intelligence capability.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead Evolution’s Procurement Centre of Excellence.
• Improve procurement data quality and establish a trusted single source of truth across spend and supplier, contract and sourcing information.
• Develop and embed procurement policies, standards, frameworks and governance processes.
• Drive procurement projects, transformation programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop procurement reporting, analytics and performance insights to support data-driven decision making.
• Lead procurement’s technology, automation and AI roadmap to improve visibility, efficiency and decision-making.
• Enhance and embed sourcing, contracting and supplier governance frameworks.
• Build procurement capability through training, playbooks, knowledge resources and coaching.
• Establish procurement planning, category planning and governance processes that improve visibility, prioritisation and stakeholder engagement.
