Job summary

Coles Group Pty Ltd is seeking a Procurement Manager for Technology Spend Excellence to turn complex procurement data into actionable insights. You will influence senior leaders, build trusted partnerships across Coles, and drive value-focused decisions for a broad portfolio of technology spend initiatives.

The role is a 12-month fixed-term contract, requiring strong commercial judgment and experience with Technology procurement.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in commerce or supply chain management with experience in Technology procurement.
• Strong stakeholder influencing skills with C-suite level experience.
• Experience in Digital Technologies or Technology/Consulting.
• Advanced analytical capability to turn complex data into clear actions.
• Strong presentation and storytelling skills for executive audiences.
• Strong commercial judgement across sourcing and supplier management.
• Adaptable mindset to identify opportunities and bring stakeholders on the journey.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with Technology GMs, Finance leaders and senior stakeholders.
• Translate spend, supplier and performance data into clear insights and compelling stories that support senior decision making.
• Prepare and present clear, decision-ready recommendations to executive leadership and governance forums.
• Partner with Technology and Finance leaders to identify and progress commercial opportunities that deliver sustainable value.
• Analyse suppliers, contracts, purchasing activity, rate cards and consumption data to identify opportunities and risks.
• Lead Technology procurement activity, applying strong commercial judgement and sourcing expertise aligned to business priorities.
• Manage a broad portfolio of initiatives, adapting quickly while keeping stakeholders aligned and informed.
