Job summary

Evolution Mining is seeking a Procurement Excellence and Projects Lead to establish a Centre of Excellence and uplift procurement across our Australian and Canadian operations. You will shape governance, analytics, systems and capability, partnering with stakeholders to deliver value and drive continuous improvement.

The role reports to the Group Manager Procurement and Supply, offers hybrid work from our Sydney base, and provides exposure to enterprise-wide initiatives across Australia and

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing procurement excellence, governance or operating models.
• Proven record of delivering transformation or business-improvement initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capability.
• Experience developing analytics, reporting or business intelligence capability.
• Exposure to systems implementation, digital enablement or process automation initiatives.
• Strong project leadership and change management capability.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead Evolution's Procurement Centre of Excellence.
• Improve procurement data quality and establish a trusted single source of truth across spend and supplier, contract and sourcing information.
• Develop and embed procurement policies, standards, frameworks and governance processes.
• Drive procurement projects, transformation programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop procurement reporting, analytics and performance insights to support data-driven decision making.
• Lead procurement's technology, automation and AI roadmap to improve visibility, efficiency and decision-making.
• Enhance and embed sourcing, contracting and supplier governance frameworks.
• Build procurement capability through training, playbooks, knowledge resources and coaching.
• Establish procurement planning, category planning and governance processes that improve visibility, prioritisation and stakeholder engagement.
