Job summary

Queensland Government is seeking a senior procurement lead to design and refine tools, templates and standards that enable consistent procurement delivery and customer service. The role shapes policy, procedures and governance to support business needs and ensure regulatory compliance.

You will oversee the Contractor Engagement team and drive alignment with Whole of Government and Queensland Health procurement frameworks.

Qualifications

• Experience leading procurement governance in large organisations.
• Strong written and verbal communication across stakeholder groups.
• Ability to prepare reports, briefs, templates and guidance materials.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and refinement of procurement tools, templates and standards.
• Research and implement organisational procurement policy and standards.
• Oversee Contractor Engagement team to secure resources when recruitment pathways are unable to meet demand.
• Promote alignment with Whole of Government and procurement frameworks.
• Contribute to service management and governance improvements.
