Job summary

Queensland Health is seeking a Practice Manager, Contracts and Procurement to lead procurement policy development, governance, and resource engagement. The role focuses on delivering consistent contracting and procurement services, aligning with government frameworks and ensuring compliance.

You will oversee the Contractor Engagement team and contribute to service management governance while driving continuous improvement in procurement capabilities across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and mentoring an operational team in a high-demand environment.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships and build trust.
• Strong written and verbal communication across stakeholders and reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and refinement of tools, templates, and standards for procurement delivery.
• Develop and review procurement policy, procedures, tools and standards to support business needs and compliance.
• Support strategic alignment with Whole of Government, Queensland Health frameworks.
• Oversee Contractor Engagement team to secure resources when standard recruitment channels fail.
• Contribute to design and improvement of service management frameworks and governance.
