Job summary

Events ACT, part of the ACT Government, is seeking a Procurement and Contracts Officer to deliver procurement services across the business units. This temporary role will support time-critical procurement activities, contract management and reporting, along with some financial administration.

You will review documentation for compliance, draft contracts, manage execution and reporting, and provide guidance to staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement activities or ability to translate previous experience to procurement.
• Ability to support time-critical procurement activities, contract management and reporting.
• Ability to interpret legislation and provide accurate advice to staff.

Responsibilities

• Review procurement and contract related documentation for compliance with legislation and policy.
• Draft contracts and agreements, manage contract execution and reporting requirements.
• Provide accurate advice to staff on contracts, agreements and related matters.
• Input into reporting requirements.
