Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Purchasing & Supply Planning Officer in Parramatta to support day-to-day purchasing, inventory replenishment and supply planning activities across Australia and New Zealand.

You will manage purchase orders, monitor stock availability and coordinate inbound supply using SAP, ensuring timely fulfillment and optimal stock levels. This temporary role offers an immediate start and is based in the heart of Parramatta with easy access to public transport.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing, procurement, supply planning, inventory management or supply chain operations.
• Strong SAP experience.
• Understanding of demand forecasting, inventory control and replenishment processes.
• Experience within an industrial, manufacturing, engineering, electrical, automation or distribution environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily purchasing and inventory replenishment activities through SAP.
• Prepare and process purchase orders and communicate with suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance, pricing, lead times and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate inbound supply and follow up outstanding orders and shipments.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and resolve supply or delivery issues.
• Monitor inventory levels and recommend appropriate replenishment actions.
• Support demand forecasting and inventory planning across Australia and New Zealand.
• Analyse historical demand, sales trends and customer requirements to support forecast accuracy.
• Maintain accurate purchasing, inventory and forecasting data within SAP.

About the Role
