Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking a Procurement Assurance & Compliance Officer for a temporary fixed-term role based in Sydney. You will work as part of a team delivering Transport’s risk-based procurement assurance and compliance program across divisions and agencies.

In this role you will check procurement transactions, collate and analyse data, prepare reports, maintain assurance records, and support stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement assurance and compliance
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a structured environment

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team delivering Transport’s risk-based procurement assurance and compliance program, supporting day-to-day monitoring, testing and reporting across divisions and agencies.
• Check procurement transactions, collate and analyse data, prepare reports, maintain assurance records, and support stakeholder engagement.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve data quality and strengthen consistent practices.
• Temporary full-time position for up to 9 months.
• Maintain clear record-keeping, stakeholder support and adherence to frameworks for transparent assurance outcomes.
• Respond to stakeholder queries and document procurement activity with accuracy.
• Collaborate with managers and across procurement, compliance, audit or risk roles.
