Job summary

IXOM is seeking a Junior Procurement Specialist for our Melbourne Head Office. You will be mentored by experienced professionals and gain hands-on exposure to sourcing, supplier management, commercial analysis, contracts and category management across Australia and New Zealand.

You don’t need years of procurement experience; we’re looking for someone with some early commercial experience who is curious, commercially minded and eager to build a long-term career in procurement.

Qualifications

• Some early procurement, purchasing, commercial analysis, finance or supply chain experience.
• Strong numerical and analytical capability; proficient with Excel and data.

Responsibilities

• Support RFIs, RFQs and RFPs; document comparisons and stakeholder communication.
• Assist sourcing and contract management across fleet, packaging, travel and other categories.
• Analyse spend, pricing and supplier information to support commercial decisions.
• Assist with supplier onboarding, performance monitoring, governance and compliance.
• Conduct data collection for management reporting.
• Build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain procurement data and supplier information; support system/process improvements.
• Progressively take ownership of procurement activities as capability develops.
