Job summary

Lynas Rare Earths Ltd in Kalgoorlie is seeking an experienced Processing Supervisor to lead a new production line at the Kalgoorlie Rare Earth Processing Facility (REPF). You will manage a team of process technicians and drive safe, compliant operations to meet production targets.

The role offers a shift pattern including 12-hour days and nights on an 8/6/7/7 roster, with an initial orientation period and potential FIFO arrangement. A strong safety focus and leadership track record are essential.

Qualifications

• Formal qualification in processing, chemistry, metallurgy or related discipline (Diploma/degree).
• Completion of WHS units of competency to hold a statutory position.
• Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor Exam achievement required.

Responsibilities

• Appointed Statutory position of Processing Plant Supervisor.
• Manage processing plant with a team of process technicians as direct reports.
• Ensure a safe working environment and plant operation to Lynas standards.
• Identify and implement safety and production improvements.
• Investigate incidents and determine root causes.
• Ensure plant readiness from production and operating perspectives.
• Plan, train and diversify skills for the crew.
• Develop and maintain operating procedures and strategies.
• Own plant performance and achieve targets.
• Provide guidance, mentoring and clear direction to the team.
