Job summary

Murrin Murrin Operations, part of Glencore, seeks a Processing Superintendent to join our ongoing nickel and cobalt processing operations in WA. The role focuses on aligning production capacity and plant utilization across the processing plant, leading the Ore leach Production team, and delivering safe, efficient operations.

You will drive continuous improvement, manage production budgets, and implement change initiatives to meet demanding performance targets in a high-safety environment.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Metallurgy preferred.
• Proven experience leading a production team in a processing plant.
• Strong continuous improvement mindset with analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of Regulations; Permit to Work, High Risk Work, Risk Assessment tools.
• Ability to investigate workplace incidents using ICAM.
• Current valid manual driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Ore leach Production team with focus on learning and development.
• Ensure production targets are achieved and plant operates safely and environmentally responsible.
• Help meet operating budgets by maintaining low cost of production.
• Contribute new operating philosophies aligned with plant demands.
• Monitor systems and processes; drive opportunities for production improvements.
• Assist Line Managers with change management initiatives and business improvement projects.
• Develop continuous improvement targets and drive achievement.
