Job summary

Glencore Australia operates the Murrin Murrin site in Western Australia, seeking an experienced operator to lead a four-person crew in the crushing plant. You will coordinate daily tasks, uphold safety standards, and ensure efficient plant operation across ROM Loader, control room, and crushing circuit monitoring.

Reporting to the Crushing Supervisor, you will bring a detailed, process-oriented mindset, with WA S26 certification, a valid HR license, and strong communication skills to drive

• HR Driver's License is required.
• Experience in mining environments with safe operation of crushing plants.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small crew to achieve safety and production targets.

• Perform statutory supervisor duties including workplace inspections, shift handover, and incident reporting.

Murrin Murrin Operations is Australia’s largest cobalt producer and a major world producer of nickel. The Role

This role will suit a hardworking, adaptable and proactive operator ready to lead a small crew, ideally with proven previous experience in a crushing or mineral processing environment. Leading a close-knit crew of four, you will coordinate daily tasks and ensure the safe, efficient operation of the crushing plant, whilst safely carrying out the below duties:

• Leading a small crew to achieving safety and production targets
• Operation and oversight of ROM Loader, Control Room and Crushing Circuit monitoring/maintenance.
• Statutory Supervisor duties including Workplace inspections, shift handover and incident reporting.

About You

Reporting directly to the Crushing Supervisor this role would suit a detailed and process oriented person with experience in a Mining environment.

• WA issued Statutory Supervisor S26 Certificate
• A strong analytical mind with the ability to problem solve, identify trends and think logically;
• Current and valid HR Driver's License
• Proactive in identifying and addressing issues;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; and
• High degree of attention to detail.
