Job summary

Tassal is seeking a reliable Casual Processing Attendant for our Dover site, supporting the Offload team in a physically demanding, night-shift role beginning at 6pm. Work involves safe offloading of harvest, forklift operation, and maintaining safety and hygiene in a wet environment.

Applicants should have a current forklift ticket, experience in heavy industrial settings, be able to pass a pre-employment medical and AOD screening, hold a valid driver’s licence, and prove working rights in

• The physical fitness required for a very physically demanding role involving manual handling. Pass a pre-employment medical + AOD screening.
• A current driver’s licence and reliable transport.
• Proof of working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the offloading of fish from the harvest transport.

The Role

Tassal is looking for a reliable, physically fit, and motivated Casual Processing Attendant to join our Offload team. This physically demanding role is based at our Dover processing site, located 1 hour and 30 minutes south of Hobart.

This is a night shift role (6pm start time) with the shift length (6-8 hours) dependent on the daily volume of fish. Your work is crucial to the first stage of our processing operation, supporting the efficient and safe receipt of our harvest.

The ideal candidate will be a true team player, comfortable working in a fast-paced, wet environment at night, with the physical capability to meet the demands of the role.
