Job summary

Workforce International in Silverwater, NSW, is hiring multiple Bakery Process Workers / Production Operators for permanent full-time roles across Day, Afternoon and Night shifts. Multiple Permanent Positions | Silverwater NSW 2128 | Bakery Manufacturing

We are currently recruiting multiple Process Workers / Production Operators for permanent full-time positions with a well-established bakery and food manufacturing business based in Silverwater.

We have multiple vacancies available across Day, Afternoon and Night Shift and are looking for reliable, hardworking people seeking secure, long-term permanent employment.

Available Shifts & Permanent Pay Rates

• Day Shift: 5:00am - 1:30pm | $30.92 per hour
• Afternoon Shift: 1:00pm - 9:30pm | $35.56 per hour
• Night Shift: 9:00pm - 5:30am | $40.20 per hour

About the Roles

As a Bakery Process Worker / Production Operator, you will be involved in the manufacture, processing and packaging of bakery and food products.

Your duties may include:

• Mixing and preparing bakery products and ingredients
• Following recipes, formulations and production procedures
• Operating and monitoring bakery production machinery and equipment
• Weighing and preparing ingredients
• Packing and preparing finished bakery products
• Setting up and cleaning production equipment
• Completing production records and batch sheets
• Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Monitoring product quality and food safety requirements
• Cleaning machinery, equipment and production areas
• Maintaining high factory hygiene and housekeeping standards
• Following Food Safety, GMP, allergen and CCP procedures
• Manual handling and lifting bags weighing up to 25kg
• Rotating through different bakery production and packing duties
• Working closely with Leading Hands, Supervisors and other production team members

To Be Considered, You Must

• Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident with unrestricted full-time working rights
• Be available for permanent full-time employment
• Have no restrictions on your ability to work full-time hours
• Have previous bakery, food manufacturing, process work, production or packing experience - highly regarded
• Be physically fit and comfortable working on your feet for extended periods
• Be able to safely lift up to 25kg
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced bakery production environment
• Be able to follow written recipes, procedures and verbal instructions
• Have good English communication skills for workplace safety and operational requirements
• Be reliable, punctual and committed to long-term employment
• Have a strong focus on food safety, hygiene and product quality
• Work effectively as part of a team
