Job summary

Programmed / PERSOLKELLY is seeking a Process Worker to support daily bakery operations, assist with production and packing, and uphold food safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

You will work as part of a team, perform repetitive manual tasks, maintain production records, and be available for flexible shifts across days, afternoons and nights, including weekends.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the production, packing, and preparation of bakery products.
• Monitoring product quality and reporting any defects or inconsistencies.
• Following food safety, hygiene, and quality assurance procedures at all times.
• Operating production equipment in accordance with training and safety procedures.
• Packing, labelling, and palletising finished products.
• Maintaining accurate production records as required.
• Supporting general cleaning and housekeeping activities to ensure a safe work environment.
• Working collaboratively with production team members to meet daily production targets.

As a Process Worker, you will play an important role in supporting daily bakery operations by assisting with food production, packing, quality checks, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. You will contribute to achieving production targets while ensuring products meet quality and food safety standards.

What we're looking for:

• A strong commitment to workplace health, safety, and food safety practices
• Previous experience in a food manufacturing, bakery, or production environment (highly regarded)
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Good attention to detail and a focus on quality
• Physical fitness and the ability to perform repetitive manual handling tasks
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible with shift availability
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced production setting
• Availability to work flexible shifts across Monday to Sunday, including weekends as required (On call)
• Shifts available across Day, afternoons and night shifts.
