Programmed Maintenance Services is seeking a Process Worker to support bakery operations, assisting with production, packing, quality checks and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. You will contribute to achieving production targets while ensuring products meet quality and food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a food manufacturing or bakery environment is highly regarded.
• Able to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Physical fitness for repetitive manual handling tasks.
• Flexible with shifts across days, afternoons, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist with production, packing and preparation of bakery products.
• Monitor product quality and report defects or inconsistencies.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and quality assurance procedures at all times.
• Operate production equipment in accordance with training and safety procedures.
• Pack, label and palletise finished products.
• Maintain accurate production records as required.
• Support general cleaning and housekeeping to ensure a safe work environment.
• Collaborate with production team to meet daily targets.

As a Process Worker, you will play an important role in supporting daily bakery operations by assisting with food production, packing, quality checks, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. You will contribute to achieving production targets while ensuring products meet quality and food safety standards.

What you will be doing:

• Assisting with the production, packing, and preparation of bakery products
• Monitoring product quality and reporting any defects or inconsistencies
• Following food safety, hygiene, and quality assurance procedures at all times
• Operating production equipment in accordance with training and safety procedures
• Packing, labelling, and palletising finished products
• Maintaining accurate production records as required
• Supporting general cleaning and housekeeping activities to ensure a safe work environment
• Working collaboratively with production team members to meet daily production targets

What we're looking for:

• A strong commitment to workplace health, safety, and food safety practices
• Previous experience in a food manufacturing, bakery, or production environment (highly regarded)
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Good attention to detail and a focus on quality
• Physical fitness and the ability to perform repetitive manual handling tasks
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible with shift availability
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced production setting
• Availability to work flexible shifts across Monday to Sunday, including weekends as required (On call)
• Shifts available across Day, afternoons and night shifts.
