Job summary

Programmed GO is hiring a Process Worker for a part-time evening role. You will perform manual production tasks, weigh, trim, portion and label items, while following hygiene, GMP and WHS standards in a cold, refrigerated environment.

Qualifications

• No formal qualifications required.
• Physically capable of repetitive manual work.
• Comfortable working in cold, wet & refrigerated environments.
• Able to remain on your feet for the duration of the shift.
• Comfortable with basic reading, writing and numbers.
• Food safety & hygiene awareness — training provided.
• NO Jewellery
• HACCP & GMP environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic line equipment under supervision.
• Monitor products for defects and report non-conforming items.
• Maintain hygiene, gowning & PPE standards.
• Cleaning and sanitation of workstations and equipment.
• Complete production records accurately.
• Assist with line changeovers.
• Follow food safety, GMP & WHS requirements.
• Work across Small Goods, Fresh Meats & RTE Packing sections.

Process Worker

Days: 3 days a week — Mon, Tues & Wed
Shift: 3:30pm – 9:30pm
Rate: $40.71/hr
Potential: Opportunity for additional days and hours to increase in the coming months.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Carry out manual production tasks including weighing, trimming, portioning, hand-packing, and labelling under the direction of the Operator or Lead.
• Operate basic line equipment under supervision
• Monitor products for defects and report non-conforming items
• Maintain hygiene, gowning & PPE standards
• Cleaning and sanitation of workstations and equipment
• Complete production records accurately
• Assist with line changeovers
• Follow food safety, GMP & WHS requirements
• Work across Small Goods, Fresh Meats & RTE Packing sections
