Job summary

Chandler Macleod is seeking a Process Worker for a hands-on role in a busy Athol Park packaging facility. You will support safe, efficient production, assist with packing and machine tasks, and participate in quality checks and housekeeping.

Training will be provided to reliable, safety-minded candidates committed to starting a career in manufacturing. The position offers a Monday–Friday roster with overtime opportunities, ongoing employment, and on-site training.

Responsibilities

• Assist with production and process activities across the facility.
• Pack, stack, bundle, label and palletise finished products.
• Safely move materials and goods around the production area.
• Support machine operators with loading, unloading and routine tasks.
• Conduct quality inspections and report defects or issues.
• Follow site safety procedures, work instructions and policies.
• Collaborate with team to meet production targets.
• Assist other departments as required by operations.

Process Worker

Are you looking for a hands‑on role within a busy manufacturing environment. We are currently seeking reliable, safety‑focused, and hardworking Process Workers to join our client in Athol Park. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading packaging manufacturer and become part of a supportive production team.

As a Process Worker, you will play a key role in supporting the safe and efficient operation of the manufacturing site. You will assist with product handling, packing, machine support, quality checks, housekeeping, and general production activities across various areas of the facility.

No specific cardboard or packaging experience is required. Full training will be provided to candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with production and process activities across the manufacturing facility.
• Packing, stacking, bundling, strapping, labelling, and palletising finished products.
• Safely moving materials and finished goods throughout the production area.
• Supporting machine operators with loading, unloading, and general production tasks.
• Conducting quality inspections and reporting any defects or issues.
• Following all site safety procedures, work instructions, and company policies.
• Working collaboratively with team members to meet production targets.
• Supporting various departments as operational requirements change.

About You

• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, warehousing, or process work (highly regarded)
• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude
• The ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced team environment
• Flexibility and willingness to learn different tasks across the site
• A Forklift Licence is advantageous but not essential

Essential Requirements

• Physically fit and capable of repetitive manual handling tasks
• Comfortable standing, walking, lifting, bending, and carrying throughout the shift
• Able to work in a manufacturing environment with noise, moving machinery, and forklifts
• Willing to wear all required PPE
• Ability to complete mandatory site inductions and training
• Availability to work rostered hours and reasonable overtime when required
