Job summary

ASTAR Personnel is hiring a Process Worker / Pick Packer for a small, modern manufacturing facility in Wetherill Park, NSW. You will handle hands-on packing, quality checks, and packing ready-for-dispatch items within a clean, safe environment.

We are seeking reliable, punctual candidates who can stand for long periods, work well in a team, and follow instructions. Training is provided; casual to permanent opportunity with an immediate start and stable weekday hours.

Qualifications

• Previous factory or pick-packing experience is an advantage, but full training will be provided.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm
Pay Rate: $32.18 per hour

About the Role

Our client is a small, modern and exceptionally clean manufacturing facility located in Wetherill Park. The business uses high tech machinery to manufacture small to medium-sized boxes and is looking for a reliable Process Worker / Pick Packer to join their friendly team.

This is a straightforward role that would suit someone who enjoys hands on work, routine tasks and working as part of a small team.

Your Responsibilities

Remove finished boxes from the production machinery

Check products for quality

Pack and stack finished products

Prepare products for dispatch

Maintain a clean and tidy work area

Follow workplace safety and production procedures

Work consistently and efficiently throughout the day

About You

We are looking for someone who:

Is reliable and punctual

Is comfortable standing for extended periods

Enjoys repetitive, hands on work

Has a good work ethic and positive attitude

Can follow instructions and work as part of a team

Is physically capable of packing and stacking products

Has a willingness to learn

Good reading and writing skills – for reading labels

Safety minded

Previous factory or pick-packing experience is an advantage, but full training will be provided.
