Job summary

DON is seeking reliable Process Workers to join our production team in Castlemaine, Victoria. This full-time role covers day and afternoon shifts, supporting production, packaging and quality control in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

You will pack and prepare products on the production line, operate equipment (training provided), and work with raw and cooked meat in a temperature-controlled setting while following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be available for full-time hours

The Role

We are currently seeking reliable and motivated Process Workers to join our production team on day and afternoon shift. These are full-time positions offering stable, ongoing employment. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, responsible for supporting the production, packaging and quality control of our products

Your duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting on the production line with packing and preparing products
• Operating equipment (full training provided)
• Working with raw and cooked meat products in a temperature-controlled environment
• Completing basic manual handling tasks, including lifting and repetitive movements
• Following food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures
• Working as part of a team to achieve daily production targets

About You

We’re looking for reliable team players who are ready to learn. To be successful in this role, you will:

• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks
• Be able to stand for long periods during your shift
• Be able to regularly lift items between 15–20kg
• Be comfortable working in chilled temperature rooms
• Be able to follow instructions and workplace procedures
• Work well both independently and as part of a team

You must be available for full-time hours and able to attend an Assessment Centre, which includes a site tour, interview, and pre-employment medical with drug and alcohol screening. Full on-the-job training is provided
