Farm Pride Foods Ltd is seeking reliable casual Process Workers to join our egg processing facility in Keysborough, Victoria. This hands-on, shift-based role supports grading floors and the product plant as coverage is needed, with hours varying per production needs.

You will perform grading, processing, packing and palletising tasks, operate production equipment, and complete quality checks. Flexibility, teamwork and a commitment to food safety are essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out grading, processing, packing and palletising tasks.

• Record production, quality, waste, downtime, temperature and stock information.
• Identify, isolate and report non-conforming or potentially contaminated product.
• Clean and sanitise equipment, utensils and work areas in accordance with procedures.

Farm Pride is seeking reliable and safety-focused Casual Process Workers to join our food manufacturing operations in Keysborough. This hands-on, shift-based role supports our grading floor and product plant when additional coverage is required. It is well suited to people who value flexible casual work and can be available across a range of shifts.

Our company heritage and industry leadership dates back to 1937. We are a major grower and processor of eggs and value-added egg products operating 10 company farms near the regional centres of Bendigo, Ballarat, Shepparton, and Geelong, as well as maintaining 2 major grading floors and a processing facility.

About the role

• Work casual shifts based on operational requirements, with hours and shift times varying according to production needs.
• Carry out grading, processing, packing and palletising tasks.
• Operate and monitor production and packaging equipment within your training and authorisation.
• Complete product quality, packaging, labelling, date-code and process-control checks.
• Record production, quality, waste, downtime, temperature and stock information accurately.
• Identify, isolate and report non-conforming or potentially contaminated product.
• Clean and sanitise equipment, utensils and work areas in accordance with approved procedures.
• Receive, inspect, move and stage raw materials, packaging and finished goods.
• Communicate production status, quality concerns and equipment issues during shift handovers.
• Operate a forklift where required and appropriately licensed.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, chemical handling, manual handling and workplace safety requirements.

• You are reliable, punctual, safety-conscious and comfortable working in a busy food manufacturing environment.
• You have flexible availability and can attend rostered casual shifts at short notice when reasonably required.
• You have clear communication skills and can work effectively as part of a team.
• You can manage your time, follow procedures and maintain accurate records.
• You understand the importance of food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety.
• You are willing to undertake a range of manual and repetitive production tasks.
• A current forklift licence is desirable where forklift duties are required.
