Job summary

AngloGold Ashanti Australia Limited is seeking Process Technicians to join the Tropicana Gold Mine Processing Operations team. You will operate fixed plant infrastructure safely, reliably and efficiently on a FIFO roster with flights from Perth.

Reporting to the Supervisor: Operations Processing, this role focuses on optimizing crushing, grinding, CIL, elution, tailings and control room functions while maintaining site standards and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in operating gold processing fixed plant.
• Knowledge of Crushing, Screening & Conveying, Grinding & Milling, CIL, Elution, and Tailing Storage.
• Exposure to process control and SCADA systems.
• Experience with a computerised ERP system, preferably SAP.
• Intermediate MS Office skills.
• Ability to operate Front-End Loader and Skid Steer Loader.
• Competence to operate small mobile equipment.
• Proactive approach to safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Full management and effective operation of the processing circuits including Crushing, Grinding, CIL, Elution, Tailings and Control Room sections.
• Monitor plant performance including conveyors, crushers and screens.
• Support maintenance activities across the fine crushing plant circuit.
• Work with Operations and Maintenance teams to minimise downtime.
• Assist in improving plant reliability and equipment availability.
• Demonstrate commitment to safety and site standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.

The Opportunity

We are currently seekingProcessTechnicians to join our Processing Operations team at our Tropicana Gold Mine. Reporting to the Supervisor: Operations Processing, you will operate designated fixed plant infrastructure and equipment in a safe, reliable, efficient and sustainable manner.

This role is offered on an 8/6FIFO roster, with direct flights provided to site from Perth and/or Kalgoorlie.

About the Role

• Full management and effective operation of the processing circuits which includes operation of the Crushing, Grinding, CIL, Elution, Tailings and Control Room sections of the Processing Plant.
• Monitor plant performance including conveyors, crushers and screens
• Support maintenance activities across the fine crushing plant circuit
• Work closely with Operations and Maintenance teams to minimise downtime
• Assist in improving plant reliability and equipment availability
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and site standards
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the plant
