Job summary

Zenith Executive Search is assisting with a 6-month shutdown opportunity in Gladstone. You will safely operate plant/production equipment, perform inspections and basic troubleshooting within a crew-based team.

A strong safety mindset and the ability to document handovers are essential. Ideal candidates have process operations or mining experience, valid Crane/Forklift tickets, and a current driver’s licence.

Qualifications

• Experience in process operations, manufacturing, heavy industry, mining or similar industrial environment.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety with proactive hazard identification.
• Ability to follow procedures and complete documentation accurately.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Current driver’s licence and ability to pass medical and drug & alcohol screen.

Job description

• Shutdown Type Role - 6 Months Worth of Work
• Experience Required: Shutdowns, Labouring or Trade Assistant
• Crane Tickets and Fork Lift Tickets and Experience Highly Regarded

About The Role

• Safely operate and monitor plant and production equipment to maintain efficient operations.
• Conduct routine plant inspections and monitor process performance, identifying and reporting any operational issues.
• Complete basic troubleshooting and elevate maintenance requirements where required.
• Maintain high standards of safety, housekeeping and environmental compliance while working within established site procedures.
• Accurately complete operational documentation, shift handovers and work collaboratively within a crew-based environment.

Skills / Experience

• Previous experience within process operations, manufacturing, heavy industry, mining or a similar industrial environment.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety with a proactive approach to hazard identification.
• Ability to follow procedures, work within a structured operating environment and complete documentation accurately.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Current driver's licence and ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.

Pay Rates

• $43.08 per hour
• Weekly pay.
• Day shift only.
• Lifestyle Roster 14.
• Assignment through to January 2027.
