Job summary

Westgold is offering a full-time, permanent role at its Bluebird Processing Plant near Meekatharra in Western Australia. The position provides base salary plus site and wellbeing allowances, up to 15% STI bonus, and superannuation, with a 14 days on / 14 days off roster and flexible options including FIFO, DIDO, and residential work from Meekatharra or Cue.

The camp includes ensuite rooms, gym, and sports court.

Qualifications

• Current WA 'C' Class driver’s licence.
• Experience in a gold processing plant or mining environment is desirable.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.
• Desirable tickets: Confined Space, Gas Testing, Working at Heights, Forklift.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor processing plant equipment safely and efficiently.
• Operate the forklift, EWP, and skid-steer safely.
• Conduct routine inspections and report faults or irregularities.
• Perform manual handling tasks and assist with plant maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Liaise with Contractors and Stakeholders as required.

THE WESTGOLD OFFER

Full-time, permanent position based at our Bluebird Processing Plant near Meekatharra. Remuneration includes base salary + site allowance + wellbeing allowance + up to 15% STI bonus + Superannuation. Based at our Bluebird site on a family friendly roster to suit your lifestyle – 14 days on, 14 days off. THE ROLE

• Operate and monitor processing plant equipment safely and efficiently
• Operate the forklift, EWP, and skid-steer in a safe and correct manner
• Conduct routine inspections and report any faults or irregularities
• Perform manual handling tasks and assist with plant maintenance
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
• Liaise with Contractors and Stakeholders as required

WHAT DO I NEED

• Current “C” Class Manual Western Australian driver’s licence
• Experience working within a gold processing plant or the mining industry (desirable)
• Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks
• Confined Space, Gas Testing, Working at Heights, and Forklift tickets (desirable)
• A strong willingness to learn and grow
• A positive, team-oriented attitude
• Desire to maintain a proactive safe working environment
• Solid problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and be adaptable
• Excellent communication skills
