Job summary

Wilmar Sugar Australia Limited in Proserpine is seeking a Boiler Assistant to support safe and efficient boiler operations and plant performance during the crushing season. This permanent on-site role involves shift work, inspections, and hands-on operational support in a close-knit team.

You will assist with start-ups and shutdowns, monitor plant performance, maintain logs, and help manage feedwater and ash systems.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in a relevant field is highly regarded.
• High Risk Work Licences (Turbine, Dogger, or Forklift) are advantageous.
• Strong work ethic and reliability are valued, with ability to work in a team.

The role involves shift work during the crushing season, including weekends and overtime, with day work during the maintenance period.
