Job summary

Sunny Queen Pty Limited is seeking a casual team member at our Wellcamp site to support the end-to-end running of our food processing and packing line. You will work afternoons, up to 38 hours per week, from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm, reporting to the Operations Manager and contributing to production targets.

You will perform pre-operative checks, operate machines, carry out on-line quality checks, follow SOPs and food safety regulations, and assist in different factory areas as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with process work in the food industry
• Desirable HACCP and GMP experience
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Strong work ethic and team orientation

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-operative checks and equipment setup to keep production on schedule
• Operate machines in High Care, Low Care and Boxing Room areas
• Conduct on-line quality checks and follow all work instructions
• Clean and perform basic maintenance on machines and equipment
• Adhere to food safety regulations and SOPs; assist in other factory areas as needed

About the role

This is a casual role, working up to 38 hours per week Monday to Friday on afternoon shifts between 1:00 pm and 9:00 pm at our Wellcamp location.

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this role will be responsible for the end‑to‑end running of the food processing and packing line requirements that are aligned to achieve production targets. You will embrace challenges, be a dynamic self-starter and be passionate about supporting a collaborative working environment our culture and our values.

Responsibilities

• Performing pre-operative checks and equipment set up to ensure production timelines run to schedule.
• Working in High Care, Low Care and Boxing Room areas
• Machine operation and trouble shooting
• Following all work instructions
• Perform on-line Quality checks
• Cleaning and basic maintenance of machines and equipment
• Following all food safety regulations and SOP’s
• Assisting in other areas of the factory when required
  

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Previous experience with process work in the food industry, FMCG background preferred
• Experience with HACCP and GMP(desirable)
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to work within a team
• Follow all safe work practices in line with company policies and procedures.
