Job description

Your opportunity

Join our Customer Experience and Operations Risk and Compliance team as Process Improvement Lead and help make it easier for Centre Teams to deliver operations consistently. You will get close to how work happens across our Westfield destinations, identifying opportunities to stop, simplify, centralise or automate processes and reduce unnecessary administration. Working across Customer Experience and Operations and enterprise teams, you will turn insights into practical improvements that strengthen controls while giving Centre Teams more time to focus on customers, communities and business partners. Reporting to the General Manager, Customer Experience and Operations Risk and Compliance, you will lead a program of change with impact across Scentre Group.

Day-to-day you will be responsible for:
  • Partnering with Centre Teams and support office teams to understand and map current processes, controls and ways of working
  • Using data and process improvement methodologies including Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen or Agile to identify opportunities and build evidence-based cases for change
  • Developing and managing a prioritised pipeline of improvement initiatives aligned with Customer Experience and Operations priorities
  • Leading consultation, workshops and implementation activities to embed sustainable change
  • Ensuring improvements simplify work while maintaining effective governance, risk and compliance requirements

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity.

What sets you apart

You bring demonstrated experience leading process improvement or business transformation in a complex operational environment, where risk, compliance and strong governance are important considerations. You are confident working across frontline operations, process mapping and data analysis, translating insights into clear recommendations and practical improvements. You build trust with stakeholders, bring people on the journey and know how to simplify work without compromising controls. Experience applying recognised continuous improvement methodologies will support your success.

You will be:

  • Clear thinking, with the ability to simplify complex processes and turn insights into practical improvements
  • Collaborative, building strong relationships across Centre Teams and the broader business
  • Evidence-led, using data and insights to guide decisions and measure impact
  • Influential, bringing stakeholders on the journey and supporting change
  • Adaptable, balancing improvement opportunities with risk, compliance and operational needs
