Job summary

Lycopodium Limited in Brisbane is recruiting for Process Engineers to join our growing process engineering team. You will deliver accurate process study and design deliverables, reporting to the Manager – Process, with opportunities for mentoring and professional growth.

Responsibilities include preparing mass balances, flowsheets, P&IDs, and design criteria, while evaluating tenders and supporting project proposals. A background in minerals processing and flotation is highly valued.

Qualifications

  • Min 3+ years post graduate proven experience in Process engineering, particularly mineral processing, flotation and/or related industries.
  • Experience in preparing process deliverables including, but not limited to: mass balances, flowsheets, P&IDs, design criteria, operating costs and control philosophy.
  • Able to interpret metallurgical test work data and produce a concise test work report summarising test work outcomes and outlining the developed process flowsheet and process design criteria.
  • Experience in evaluating tenders and provide technical recommendations for the purchase of process equipment from vendors during studies and design.
  • Solid work experience with engineering consultancies that specialise in minerals processing.
  • Has contributed to the development of junior process engineers by providing mentoring and feedback on a continuous basis.

Reporting to the Manager – Process, the Process Engineer will be responsible for the delivery of accurate, professional and compliant process study and design deliverables using Company approved systems and procedures to agreed schedules.

Tasks you'll perform
