Job summary

Lycopodium in Brisbane is actively seeking Process Engineers to join our growing process engineering team. The role focuses on delivering accurate process studies and designs using company-approved systems, under the Manager - Process.

You will contribute to proposals and help develop junior engineers. The successful candidate will have 3+ years of post-graduate experience in mineral processing, be proficient in mass balances, flowsheets and P&IDs, and collaborate across disciplines to meet

Qualifications

• Min 3+ years post graduate proven experience in Process engineering, particularly mineral processing, flotation and/or related industries.
• Experience in preparing process deliverables including mass balances, flowsheets, P&IDs, design criteria, operating costs and control philosophy.
• Ability to interpret metallurgical testwork data and summarize outcomes in a concise report with flowsheet and design criteria.
• Experience evaluating tenders and providing technical recommendations for process equipment purchases during studies and design.
• Solid experience with engineering consultancies specialising in minerals processing.
• Has contributed to development of junior process engineers via mentoring and feedback.

Responsibilities

• Provide proficient and accurate process design input into studies and detailed design.
• Collaborate with personnel across disciplines and business units.
• Maintain knowledge of upcoming processes, designs and operating strategies.
• Contribute to improvement initiatives supporting business priorities for continuous improvement.
• Assist with development of proposals for testwork, studies and detailed engineering.
