Lycopodium in Brisbane is actively seeking Process Engineers to join our growing process engineering team. The role focuses on delivering accurate process studies and designs using company-approved systems, under the Manager - Process.

You will contribute to proposals and help develop junior engineers. The successful candidate will have 3+ years of post-graduate experience in mineral processing, be proficient in mass balances, flowsheets and P&IDs, and collaborate across disciplines to meet

Formación

• Min 3+ years post graduate proven experience in Process engineering, particularly mineral processing, flotation and/or related industries.
• Experience in preparing process deliverables including mass balances, flowsheets, P&IDs, design criteria, operating costs and control philosophy.
• Ability to interpret metallurgical testwork data and summarize outcomes in a concise report with flowsheet and design criteria.
• Experience evaluating tenders and providing technical recommendations for process equipment purchases during studies and design.
• Solid experience with engineering consultancies specialising in minerals processing.
• Has contributed to development of junior process engineers via mentoring and feedback.

Lycopodium is currently recruiting for Process Engineers to join our growing process engineering team in Brisbane.

Reporting to the Manager - Process, the Process Engineer will be responsible for the delivery of accurate, professional and compliant process study and design deliverables using Company approved systems and procedures to agreed schedules.

The tasks you'll perform

• Provide proficient and accurate process design input into studies and detailed design.
• Work collaboratively with personnel across all disciplines and business units.
• Strive to continuously maintain and up to date knowledge of upcoming processes, designs and operating strategies.
• Develop and contribute to the delivery of improvement initiatives which support business priorities for continuous improvement.
• Assist with the development of proposals for testwork, studies and detailed engineering.
  
  

The expertise you'll bring

• Min 3+ years post graduate proven experience in Process engineering, particularly mineral processing, flotation and/or related industries.
• Proven experience in preparing process deliverables including, but not limited to: mass balances, flowsheets, P&IDs, design criteria, operating costs and control philosophy.
• Able to Interpret metallurgical testwork data and produce a concise testwork report summarising testwork outcomes and outlining the developed process flowsheet and process design criteria.
• Experience in evaluating tenders and provide technical recommendations for the purchase of process equipment from vendors during studies and design.
• Solid work experience with engineering consultancies that specialise in minerals processing.
• Has contributed to the development of junior process engineers by providing mentoring and feedback on a continuous basis.
