Job summary

Australian Country Choice is seeking a practical, data-driven Process Engineer to join our Operational Excellence team at Cannon Hill. You will partner with frontline teams to identify improvement opportunities and help deliver sustainable performance.

With 2–5 years in manufacturing or food processing, you will map processes, conduct time studies, analyze capacity and drive standard work, visual management and data-driven business cases.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Chemical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial or Process Engineering.
• 2–5 years’ experience in manufacturing or food processing.
• Experience in process mapping or time-and-motion studies.
• Strong analytical skills with Excel and operations data.
• Clear written and verbal communication and ability to engage frontline staff.

Responsibilities

• Map current and future-state processes and validate workflows.
• Conduct time studies, work sampling and time-and-motion analysis.
• Analyse capacity, constraints, throughput and line balance.
• Support structured problem solving and root cause analysis.
• Develop standard work, process controls and visual management.
• Prepare business cases, reports and visualisations.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, quality and safety teams on trials and implementation.
