Job summary

CSR is seeking a hands-on Process Engineer for its Villawood manufacturing site (NSW), responsible for driving process improvement, safety, quality and productivity across three key production lines.

You will partner with Operations, Maintenance and Engineering to embed Lean and World Class Manufacturing principles, analyse data, lead improvement projects and deliver tangible performance gains for both domestic and export markets.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified engineer with manufacturing experience.
• Experience applying Lean and continuous improvement.
• Proven ability to analyse production data and translate to action.
• Strong project management and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, productivity and cost performance.
• Analyse production processes and data to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
• Lead process improvement projects delivering measurable gains in efficiency and reliability.
• Embed Lean and World Class Manufacturing principles across the site.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Quality and Engineering to implement sustainable improvements.
• Investigate manufacturing issues using structured problem‑solving tools and implement corrective actions.
• Support capital projects and equipment upgrades.
