Job summary

Kent Consumer Brands APAC is seeking a hands‑on Process Engineer to improve manufacturing performance, reliability, safety and productivity across APAC operations from the Gold Coast site. You will work closely with site teams to identify opportunities, troubleshoot challenges and implement practical improvements across systems, equipment and methods.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, ideally Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Manufacturing or a related discipline.
  • Manufacturing, operations or engineering experience, including internship, co‑op or hands‑on site experience.
  • Exposure to process improvement, troubleshooting, production operations or equipment implementation.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability.
  • Understanding of manufacturing systems, process flow fundamentals and operational performance measures.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement principles such as Lean, TPM or similar.
  • Ability to analyse performance data and support data‑driven decision making.
  • Strong communication, influencing and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency with Excel and standard engineering or business tools; exposure to CAD systems such as AutoCAD would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and eliminate inefficiencies to improve productivity, reduce waste and optimise cost performance.
  • Apply structured problem-solving, continuous improvement tools and data analysis to improve process and equipment reliability.
  • Provide on‑the‑floor technical support to troubleshoot process, equipment and material issues.
  • Support daily production needs to ensure safe, consistent and efficient operations.
  • Analyse process flow, capacity, cycle times and line performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, standard work and operating procedures.
  • Support metrics, tracking systems and reporting to drive performance accountability.
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, maintenance, quality, R&D and leadership teams.
  • Contribute to capital planning, project execution, commissioning and operational improvement initiatives.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure risk mitigation is considered in process improvements and project work.

Are you a practical, hands‑on Process Engineer who enjoys solving problems, improving manufacturing performance and partnering with teams on the floor to make work safer, smarter and more efficient?

KENT Consumer Brands, APAC is seeking a Process Engineer to support our Engineering and Operations function. This role will help improve process performance, reliability, safety, quality and productivity across our manufacturing operations.

  • Work with a recognised consumer brands business across the APAC region.
  • Play a meaningful role in improving safety, quality, efficiency and operational performance.
  • Partner with experienced engineering, operations, maintenance, quality and leadership teams.
  • Gain exposure to continuous improvement, process optimisation, troubleshooting and project work.
  • Contribute to practical solutions that make a real impact on manufacturing outcomes.
About the role

Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the Process Engineer will work closely with site teams and cross-functional stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities, troubleshoot process challenges and develop sustainable solutions that improve manufacturing performance.

This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys being close to operations, using data to understand performance, and working collaboratively to implement practical improvements across systems, equipment, materials and methods.

You are analytical, collaborative and comfortable working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. You can communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, from shop floor teams through to senior leaders, and you enjoy turning technical insights into practical operational outcomes.

Additional information

Some travel may be required between sites and for training or vendor equipment testing.

The role may involve time on the manufacturing floor and use of PPE as required.

Must be willing to travel between sites as required to support operational and project needs across the APAC region

Ability to spend extended time on the manufacturing floor, including during commissioning and troubleshooting activities

Commitment to continuous improvement and development of both technical capability and operational knowledge

Ability to adapt to a fast‑paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities across multiple sites and projects
