Job summary

Asahi Beverages is seeking a senior Process Engineer to shape process design standards across our liquid-processing networks. You will convert operational needs into clear scopes, descriptions and robust inputs for brewing, beverage, syrup and utilities projects.

You will deliver technical reviews, safety assessments and practical support to site and capital teams, acting as a trusted specialist who guides decisions from concept to implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent required.
• Experience in beverage processing or liquids manufacturing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of process safety methods and hazardous areas.
• Ability to translate operational needs into clear engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Shape concept designs and project scopes for brewing, beverage and utilities projects, translating operational requirements into practical process solutions.
• Develop process descriptions, policies and technical standards that support safe, automated and reliable manufacturing.
• Guide site and capital teams through process design decisions, drawing reviews and front-end engineering.
• Lead process hazard assessments and hazardous-area compliance activities covering chemicals and flammable materials.
• Partner with project managers, engineering partners and site specialists to produce robust, fit-for-purpose designs.

• Shape concept designs and project scopes for brewing, beverage, syrup and utilities projects, translating operational requirements into practical process solutions.
• Develop process descriptions, policies and technical standards that support safe, automated and reliable manufacturing processes.
• Guide site and capital teams through process design decisions, drawing reviews and front-end engineering to strengthen project outcomes.
• Lead process hazard assessments and hazardous-area compliance activities covering chemicals, flammable materials, dangerous goods and combustible materials.
• Partner with project managers, engineering partners and experienced site specialists to gather critical inputs and produce robust, fit-for-purpose designs.

About You

• You bring deep process engineering experience from beverage, brewing, dairy, liquid food, utilities (oil & gas) or another complex process-manufacturing environment.
• You apply chemical engineering expertise to liquid-process design, automated systems, valve manifolds and supporting utilities.
• You understand process safety methods, hazardous areas, chemical management and the regulatory requirements affecting manufacturing sites.
• You translate complex operational needs into clear concepts, process descriptions, design requirements and practical engineering advice.
• You work with self-awareness and sound judgement, seeking specialist input, responding constructively to challenge and influencing experienced technical stakeholders.
