Job summary

Anton Murray Consulting is seeking a Client Onboarding Specialist for a 12-month initial contract in our Sydney office. The role sits with the Account Management Team and ensures Know Your Client (KYC) documentation complies with global standards and local regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have Private Banking & Wealth Management onboarding experience for UHNW/HNW clients and trusts, with strong CIP/AML knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to escalate concerns with

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent education or experience.
3-6 years plus relevant working experience in the financial services industry – ideally Wealth Management, Private Banking industry.
Required experience in Compliance or Risk within a private bank or onboarding in a top-tier bank.

Responsibilities

Review documentation from Sales including CIP documents, Account Opening Documents and other required items; communicate on missing or inconsistent data.
Escalate regulatory concerns or exceptions to the Manager; conduct Enhanced Due Diligence where necessary; submit high-risk accounts for GFC signoff.
Review and validate accuracy of data affecting ML/TF risk (Source of Wealth, Total Net Worth).
Engage with Sales to share KYC/ML-TF guidance to improve KYC and due diligence quality.
Ensure account opening documentation and approvals are retained and monitored within required timeframes.
