Zip Co is seeking an experienced Compliance Operations Manager to manage Privacy requests across Australia and New Zealand, and to oversee the External Dispute Resolution process in collaboration with AFCA and FSCL. You will use data to identify risks, strengthen processes, and drive a proactive, customer-focused compliance environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in compliance, privacy, legal, dispute resolution or financial services.
• Knowledge of privacy obligations and regulatory requirements in AU/NZ.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Sound judgement with a customer-focused approach to sensitive matters.
• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to navigate multiple systems and support investigations.

Responsabilités

• Manage Privacy requests across Australia and New Zealand with timely, accurate responses.
• Oversee external dispute resolution complaints from investigation to resolution.
• Prepare submissions to EDR bodies, incorporating evidence and regulatory considerations.
• Coordinate the EDR workflow, including case allocation, progress monitoring and escalation.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Credit, Fraud and Product teams to resolve complex issues.
• Analyze complaint data to identify trends and risks, translating insights into practical recommendations.
• Prepare EDR reporting for risk and compliance governance forums.
• Contribute to improvements across Zip's Privacy response and EDR frameworks.
• Support quality assurance and peer reviews to maintain high-quality responses.
• Share knowledge with colleagues and stakeholders, contributing to training across Privacy and dispute resolution.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through smarter processes and AI tools.
