Job summary

Zip is seeking a Compliance Operations Manager to lead privacy requests across Australia and New Zealand, ensuring timely, accurate responses in line with privacy laws and regulatory obligations. You will also drive the External Dispute Resolution process with bodies like AFCA and FSCL, investigating complex customer matters and delivering fair outcomes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in compliance, privacy, legal, dispute resolution or financial services.

Responsibilities

• Manage privacy requests across Australia and New Zealand with timely, accurate responses.
• Oversee external dispute resolution (EDR) matters with AFCA and FSCL to resolve complex customer issues.
• Coordinate EDR workflow, case allocation, progress monitoring and escalation of complex matters.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Credit, Fraud and Product teams to investigate and improve customer outcomes.
• Analyse complaint data to identify trends and emerging risks, and translate into practical actions.
• Prepare submissions to external dispute resolution bodies with evidence and regulatory considerations.
• Produce meaningful EDR reporting for governance forums and highlight customer impacts.
• Contribute to privacy response and EDR framework improvements and training.
