Job summary

The GEO Group Australia is seeking a Health Services Manager to lead the provision of clinical health services at Hopkins Correctional Centre near Ararat and Ballarat, Victoria. You will coordinate staffing, ensure evidence-based practice, and meet contractual key performance measures, while working within a safe, governed environment.

This full-time role offers an attractive base salary of AU$157,000 plus super.

Qualifications

• Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Registered Nurse (AHPRA).
• Post-graduate qualifications related to health or health service management or extensive relevant experience.
• Experience leading clinical governance and clinical risk management at local level.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the provision of all health services at Hopkins Correctional Centre.
• Ensure health services are delivered safely and in an evidence-based manner.
• Meet Key Performance Measures per the contract between Client and GEO Healthcare.
• Investigate and manage incidents and complaints and ensure reporting and corrective actions.
• Coordinate local staffing and resources to meet patient needs and contractual obligations.
