The GEO Group Australia Pty Ltd. is seeking a Health Services Manager to oversee the delivery of primary health care at Hopkins Correctional Centre near Ararat and Ballarat. You will ensure care is safe, evidence-based and aligned with contractual KPIs.

Based in a prison setting, you will coordinate staffing and resources, lead a multidisciplinary team and drive continuous improvement in health outcomes for inmates.

Qualifications

• Ability to work within a prison setting
• Satisfactory completion of a National Criminal History Check
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
• Working outside ordinary business hours may be required

About the roles

GEO Healthcare provides primary healthcare to men in Public Prisons across Victoria.

The Health Services Manager (HSM) is responsible for managing the provision of health services at Hopkins Correctional Centre including to ensure that the services are delivered in a safe and evidence-based manner.

The role is responsible for coordinating staffing and other resources at Hopkins Correctional Centre and for meeting Key Performance Measures (KPMs) in accordance with the contract between the Client and GEO Healthcare.

• Ability to work within a prison setting, which will involve direct contact with people in prison associated with the delivery of healthcare.
