Job summary

MEGT invites you to join a 24-month, full-time Print Technician Trainee program in Canberra. You’ll gain hands-on experience with printers, diagnostics and installation while studying Certificate IV in IT.

A mechanically minded, curious learner with strong communication will thrive in a high-tech, supportive environment. The role requires a valid driver’s licence, reliable transport, and the ability to obtain Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role requiring eagerness to learn IT and print technology.
• Must be able to obtain Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance.
• Must hold a current and valid driver’s licence and have access to a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical service and support for printers and related equipment
• Perform printer repairs and maintenance
• Assist with equipment setup and installation
• Use diagnostic and fault-finding techniques to identify and resolve issues
• Troubleshoot technical and connectivity problems
• Communicate with clients regarding their IT and printing equipment
