Job summary

MCC Brisbane is seeking a Print Press Operator to join the production team. Trade-qualified printers will work with modern, industry-leading technology on rotating shifts in a fast-paced environment.

You will operate presses, maintain equipment, and ensure high-quality outputs, while supporting and mentoring Assistant Printers to keep daily operations running smoothly and safely.

Qualifications

• Trade qualified (Certificate III in Print or equivalent).
• Experience with Offset printing processes (TCS, MO3, MO4, Lithographic) or related methods.
• Strong attention to detail with high quality control standards.
• Physically capable of manual handling.

Responsibilities

• Operate advanced printing technology to deliver client orders on time and to a high-quality standard.
• Maintain and troubleshoot machinery with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.
• Inspect components regularly and report maintenance or repair needs promptly.
• Uphold quality assurance practices, maintaining accurate production and quality records.
• Support and train Assistant Printers, coordinating daily tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Duties include

• Operate advanced printing technology to deliver client orders on time and to a high-quality standard.

About You

• Trade qualified (Certificate III in Print or equivalent).
• Skilled in Offset (TCS, MO3, MO4, Lithographic), Nilpeter, Rotary, Flexographic (Flexo), or Digital print processes.
• Experience with highly embellished labels is a plus, but not essential.
• Background in printing or manufacturing environments preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent quality control standards.
• Physically capable of performing manual handling tasks.
• Eligible Australian working rights.
